U. S. Pigment Raku Glazes are specially formulated for low-temperature firing (ranges from Cone 06 to Cone 1).They are suitable for medium or strong reduction. Raku glazes come in powder form and are designed to be mixed with water; 5 lbs. of dry glaze powder makes 1 gallon of liquid glaze. The liquid glaze can then be applied on bisqueware by dipping or brushing. For best results, allow prepared liquid glaze to soak overnight. Stir thoroughly before use.
